Welcome to the APA Festival of Pool website, the website is dedicated to the Andover Open which is now in its ninth year and still going strong, this year’s Festival of Pool will start with a flyer event on Friday the 2nd of March, which will be a best of five (Depending on entries) knockout competition and will be open to all pool players.
Saturday will be the main event, the Andover Open 2012 with 32 players in match conditions, for prize money which last year totaled £800.00, £400.00 going to the winner Nick Roberts who was the first player to have his name engraved on the Karl Baxter Cup.
Again this year’s Open will be sponsored by local companies CreativeWebTech and Sealock, who together will once again bring this spectacular event to Andover.
Something new for the 2012 Festival of Pool is the under 21 event which will be run on Sunday the 4th, this event is a new competition bringing the young up and coming stars to the fore to battle for their own title and most importantly to encourage new players into the sport.
